Welcome! In this play-by-post RP a new breed of humans emerge from amongst society, almost completely unnoticed until one day the feline DNA that had been resting dormant in them awakens. It is then that a Colmillo is born, as these teens struggle to survive and desperately trying to blend in. They go to school, they eat Pop-Tarts, they go to parties with friends... And they fight. For their freedom, for their humanity, and for their lives- all nine of them. Join the struggle, and register now!
Welcome to Four Seasons: Stuck in Limbo, A Clan Rabbit RP. A Clan Rabbit RP? Yup! If you've read "Warriors" by Erin Hunter you can sort of get a feel on how its going to be here in AppleBorough. But instead of some frisky felines, we have some rowdy rabbits setting their lives to the way of their clans.
This should be an interresting experience considering I haven't seen many RPs of this sort...so lets have some fun! I guess I wouldn't be wrong in saying this is a unique role-playing forum and we'd love to have you as a memmber. Come join the rabbits in Appleborough, choose your clan, your role, and learn to survive....
History:
Back to the beginning...
With the onslaught of wolf packs gone thanks to AppleBorough's farmer, the only human in AppleBorough within a four mile radius, the rabbits all rejoiced with their new freedom. Although many were lost to the time of the wolves, the battle was fruitful at the end. Life could now be enjoyed and not feared.
The forests and all of AppleBorough seemed to glow with new life, and the bunnies were taught to fight and survive through any hardship. The training was not serious and the bunnies took it as fun until one of the elders had a dream. A horrific dream that peirced the once joyous glow and shattering it. The wolves will return...and bring allies to right the wrong. The rabbits had lured the wolf packs to the farmers house and when the man had seen the threat the wolves would impose on his livestock, the wolves were shipped out...out of AppleBorough, which the rabbits hoped was forever....
Quickly taking action the elders came together and thought of a plan, a plan to secure what was rightfully theirs. The solution was to split up into clans, five for each region of Appleborough.

Cadence; fantasy equine RPG « Result #3 on Oct 2, 2008, 7:28am »
(click the above image to enter our realm)
Cadence is a Unicorn-only fantasy role-play, I don't see that changing anywhere in the near future, but there is a possibility. It is element-based, meaning that each unicorn is gifted with either Earth, Water, Air or Fire (or a mix of both - or a few - depending on their heritage; please note that the more mixes in ones' lineage, the more diluted and less powerful the ability)
We are only very new and currently have 8 members. There is a major plot under-way, but we require a little more activity before it can start to take place; it will be called "The Mothers' Heir".
We offer:
A beautiful, fresh layout; A unique plot line; A fun and comfortable environment;
(But please note that none of the above will be handed over lightly, and they cannot be auditioned for. You will be approached by the Admin if you are seen fit for the position. We look for things like activity, experience, skill and helpfulness.) Canon position are not yet available, they will be reserved for when the site is a little more active, so keep your eyes peeled.
The Plot
Cadence is the fruit of unwavering hope and overwhelming trust. It is a place born of the darkness, a light emerging from the shadows. When the world had fallen and civilization at a deathly still, an evil fell unto the land. The dark ocean swelled and engulfed each and every country of the world - it was the end of the land-dwellers.
A wise, powerful old spirit returned to earth in the form of an angelic Unicorn. He took it into his own hands to bring life back to the land. After gathering every single ounce of his power and strength, he miraculously summoned an enormous mass of earth from the oceans' depth with his long horn. The strain required was immense and the old being could not manage such a task; age took its toll on him, sending him to his knees and into a slumber from which he would never awaken.
The old spirits' mate, Farore, saw the whole thing and, still plagued by her grief, finished what her mate had started, adding life to the great mass of bare rock. With it, she gave life to four unicorns: Aiden of Fire, Evelyn of Wind, Orin of Earth, and Una of Water. She left the three fetus's to incubate in their elements, and passed away in a peaceful glade, content that she had successfully given life back to the world.
Over-joyed, the spirits - eager to return to the physical world - reincarnated as small creatures that, over time would eventually develop and evolve. The four Unicorns - slowly expanding their unique race - began to develop secondary gifts that Farore had not intended, gifts that would only ever get stronger and more powerful with each new generation.
a PG-13, intermediate-advanced, semi-realistic, medieval wolf RPG
~~
When a scientist began research on wolves by releasing them on a vast, lush island, and died only weeks after, the wolves started to form a rather unusual style of community. Their ways were nearly exactly the same as the humans' long-past medieval times.
The wolves formed three unique villages, their kingdoms living within three ancient castles.
However, the kingdoms only invite the strongest, fastest, and smartest wolves into knighthood and the villagers aren't happy. The kingdoms' forces are deteriorating. Will the kingdoms allow weaker wolves? Or will they crumble?
To make things worse, normal packs of wolves are forming and they are against the ways of the three medieval villages. Many of them are planning an attack. With weakened armies, will the villages stand any chance?
Ever since the rise of the three kingdoms, there has been constant rivalry between them. Every kingdom had heard news of attack from both sides, the other villages.
With danger arising from two completely different sources, how can any wolf survive? Can the kingdoms solve their difficulties, or will it all end in blood and death?

Many years ago, humans lived upon the lands of Arathorn. They lived in harmony with the horses and even some of the wild dogs that roamed the lands. Eventually after years of the tribes kindness and gratitude towards the animals, the horses and wolves became tame. The horses were used for both transport and for pets, they were cherished by all of the tribes of humans and were never once used as meat. The wolves were taught to never harm a horse and were used as hunting dogs set out into the forests to bring back some wild turkey or hogs. Everything on the island of Arathorn seemed peaceful at the time, the animals and humans lived quietly, no one even knowing that they had ever existed. But as the times turned modern problems begun to occur. Planes flew high above the lands, shaking the earth. Although no one had yet found the land it unnerved the humans horribly.
After years more of this they were extremely worried, trying to debate whether to leave. They had built several canoes in case an emergency occurred. And that happened. In the afternoon of a very normal day, a plane again flew over head, this time seemingly out of control. It plummeted towards the island, not stopping until it hit the ground, hard. There were no survivors on the plane but the humans of the land thought that the gods were furious at them. They began to pack up and leave, too afraid to go near the twisted corpse of the plane, which was in flames. Fuel leaked everywhere, fire caught, lighting trees. Soon a ripping forest fire was blazing through the island. Many animals, including the tame ones burnt to death. The tribes tried to save them, attempting to board horses on their canoes, but to no avail.
Only the wolves would fit. So in their great sorrow, the humans left their beloved horses behind, only managing to evacuate the wolves. As there canoes paddled away, the horses watched, hoping the humans would return. They were now completely tame and nibbled at the grass near the tribes home. They knew not where the spring filled with water was, so they began to search desparetely for the liquid of life, water. After many days they found the watering hole on the vast island of Arathorn, many horses ill from dehydration. The fire had burnt down all shade and the fuel had leaked and contaminated the water. As some horses drank they died a few days later, but most became mutated in a strange way from the fuel. It was an unexplainable phenomenon.
As the horses waited nearly a decade for their human families before they gave up, they became fully mutated, passing on their new weird genetics to foals. The horses had turned into around four different breeds. First there were the Jinto a horse that despite the fuel managed to remain perfectly normal. Second the Raythorn, a horse who had sprouted wings from the fuel. Third the Zenhorne horses who had grown a magnificent horn. And fourth the Iris, horses who were coloured in the most magnificent shades of colours from the rainbow or colours of silver, gold or bronze. The horses learned how to be wild, living peacefully for the most part.
Nearly one thousand years after the tribes left they still thrive, completely wild now, many generations of these magnificent abnormals thrive. They have long since forgotten their humans, it was as if they were never there. Humans have died out now and there existence has been forgotten. But even still, danger still lingers. Equines are splitting apart, some so horrible and retched that they live for killing, some so wonderful that they could not harm a fly, and finally some equines so confused that their personalities are mixed with horrible and friendly. A war is brewing, all the equines can feel it. Also the damage of pollution the humans left is still here, the island has not yet been contaminated by the coming smog. With the smog an influenza could break out, are the horses strong enough to live through this tragedy when in comes?

Leafclan, Moonclan, Nightclan, and Rippleclan are about to face a new clan.
Blackclan.
The former Leafclan warrior, Bramblefire, is out to seek revenge. He formed a clan filled with loners and former clan members with one thing in common. The love of killing and power.
Four cats from different clans find themselves called upon by Skyclan to do the impossible. Help defeat Blackclan. They are told that it is up to them to join together the clans and stop this unnecessary killing. But who will listen to four measly cats that are just another cat in the clan? And how will they meet without their clanmates knowing?
Bramblefire isnt going to be stopped that easily.
Will the clans survive? Or be overtaken by this power hungry clan?
It is the year 2300, and the world as we know is gone. It is a place that allows no imperfections; but of course when something isn't wanted, it rears it's often ugly head.
A dark secret was soon discovered; humans with the ability to shift forms into animals. Complete body changes; face, body, and internal organs. Only their mind remained.
The world rejected them. A world-wide extermination began, all adults and what children that were not put into hiding were killed. However, a group of scientists decided they wanted to preform experiments on these imperfect beings, and managed to capture all of the children of the exterminated adults.
So after two years in testing, the teens were put into an enclosure known as the Menagerie. Thousand and thousands of miles of huge, standard bullet and explosive proof glass, standing two layers thick, formed a beautifully exact square around the perimeters of the city. The inside hadn't been touched; only the enclosure was now climate controlled (the scientists could change the weather, seasons, anything they so desire). It was opened to the public eye to get appropriate funding. The scientists became what are known now as 'The Keepers'.
N O W
It has been two years now that the Menagerie has been fully functional, and slowly it has become noticeable that the distinct line between animal and human has been smudged for these poor children.
But that is another story in itself; what I have been instructed to write here today is something that borders the lines of unexplainable phenomena.
The Keepers had been working on yet another experiment, this time to cleanse the DNA of the morphing teenagers and to finally wipe out the gene responsible for this imperfection. Slowly, the DNA gene of the shifting abilities became something else entirely, and simply put - a mutation occurred.
The changes happened slowly, over time. With each passing week they grew more and more dramatic. Even when the children - still being held for testing - were in their human forms, the mutations began. Instead of skin they had fur, instead of noses, prominent snouts began to form. Fingernails grew into claws, and feet grew into paws and hooves (depending on the animal DNA locked inside). Most began growing tails, and soon these poor children were almost unrecognizable as humans. They had become anthropomorphs.
Basically, what this means, is that they became animals with humanistic qualities. Walking upright, talking, thinking logically - everything a human has, so do they - simply in a different form.
The original inhabitants of the Menagerie are engraged, and an all out war against the anthrhopopmorphics has begun.
